Who we are

Cameo Aviation Group currently owns a 1965 Cherokee 180 based out of KSUS (Spirit of Saint Louis) Airport and is available to members and members’ businesses for dry lease.

Company took its name from the 1958 Chevy Cameo the managing member owns (but not available for dry lease).

Currently Cameo Aviation Group, LLC is at max member limit, but may have additional shares available in the Aircraft in the future. Cameo Aviation Group may also be add additional aircraft to the fleet as available and needs dictate.

Cherokee N7797W is a 1964 production, 1965 model, Piper Cherokee 180. We have all log books going back from when she rolled out of the factory in Pennsylvania in 1964. 97W is IFR certified with WAAS GPS, Radio NAV, and ADSB Out/In capabilities. During the winter of 2025/2026 we refreshed the equipment and the airplane will be a Technically Advanced Aircraft pending the installation of an Aerocruze 100 autopilot. During the extended maintenance all fuel & oil hoses were replaced, SureFly Electronic Ignition System, new Plane Power Alternator & voltage regulator Installed,
